The Oracle ZS9-2 ZFS Storage Appliance gets new 22TB disks for the 4U “capacity disk tray” providing a whopping 528TB of raw storage in a single unit. This allows a single head appliance to achieve a storage capacity of 4.22 Petabytes with eight trays. That is an increase of 336TB per chassis compared to the launch of these systems and the original 8TB disks.
